I have been part of Frontier Ventures since 2011. I currently live in Osijek, Croatia. Before that, my perspective and vision were forged through the challenging unpredictability of the wilderness as I worked in wilderness ministry for nine years. God directed me to a new career, which began by studying Intercultural Studies and Theology at Fuller Seminary. During this time, God rekindled my childhood love of writing.

I came to Southeastern Europe as a mission researcher and writer, convinced that true and compelling stories have the potential to influence individuals and communities towards God’s purposes. Effective research is an indispensable tool for churches and missionaries in their participation in God’s mission, and I share my research by consulting with mission organizations, speaking at conferences, and writing. In the last few years, my research has primarily focused on Christianity among Romani groupsI am currently working toward a PhD on that theme. I am also in leadership at a small church plant in Eastern Croatia.

The vision and direction of Mission Frontiers is partially fueled by current mission research. And I am glad to participate to the end of seeing churches and organizations more effectively mobilized with a clear sense of how God is working in the world.
